SPVU are an independent group of parent carers working together to hear and share the collective voice of our members who aspire to improve outcomes for all children and young people in Sandwell, who have special educational needs or disability.
SPVU do this by representing the views and experiences of our members to leaders of the local area services. They also offer advice, guidance and training opportunities in response to demand from our members.
SPVU have various ways of communicating with our members – we run parents meetings, surveys, speak over the phone, 1-1 and group meetings. We also draw information from social media.
Their volunteer parent carer led steering group ensures they work for the benefit of all our members.
